Redefining Equality, Nurturing Growth

Desire Youth Initiative (DYI) is a non-profit women and youth led community-based organization operating within but not limited to Kilifi County. Proud with a diverse membership mix across age, gender, culture and religious background, we are established to serve the community in order to bring about the realization of each one’s role in creating an ideal state. In doing this, the group works closely with the relevant governmental bodies and stakeholders in supporting our programs within our stipulated boundaries. Our programs are channeled towards advancing gender and social justice of women and girls, targeting majorly vulnerable members of society such as People with disabilities, women and children. DYI strives to improve the quality of life through her outreaches and tailor-made programs and activities specifically geared according to each of these groups’ specific needs.
